Had to cancel a reservation made in January because my father passed in February. Said on the site and by cancelation that it was free if canceled before June 26th... but they made me pay 400 to cancel. Is this normal??

Comment: I just cant understand if a 150 deposit was already given at the time of booking, with a free cancelation policy, how can they insist i pay another 394.00 to cancel? I was well within the free cancelation period??
